New Wall Hanging at the Bible Museum

This tapestry is an enlargement of a page from the Kennicott Bible, produced in around 1476 CE in Spain, by Jewish artists and scribes. It took Jean around 100 hours to paint and gild it. The gold reflects light and illuminates the page. The small (A4) size facsimile page, which Jean is holding in her hand, hand-painted with gold on vellum, can be purchased from Facsimile Editions here: http://www.manuscriptleaves.com/manuscripts/manuscripts/en_kb.html (folio 443). The Kennicott Bible resides in the Bodleian Library in the UK.
